From a College Bedroom to Your Server Room
Flyght didn't start in a fancy office with venture capital and a ping-pong table. It started in a college bedroom in Toledo with a laptop, a stubborn refusal to sleep, and an obsessive need to fix things that were broken.
The original idea was simple: businesses were getting absolutely destroyed by overpriced, overcomplicated technology vendors who spoke in jargon, nickel-and-dimed on every support call, and disappeared the second things got hard. Someone needed to actually give a damn. So we did.
We started by helping local restaurants and retailers manage their tech — POS systems, networks, payment processing, the works. We built a reputation for being the people who showed up, fixed things, and didn't charge you a consulting fee to explain what we fixed. Wild concept, apparently.
That bedroom turned into an office. The restaurants turned into law firms, manufacturers, medical practices, and growing businesses across Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. The laptop turned into an operations center. But the thing that hasn't changed? We still pick up the phone. We still know your name. And we still think most IT companies make this way harder than it needs to be.
Today, Flyght is a full-service managed IT and cybersecurity provider headquartered in Toledo at 7430 W Central Ave. We manage networks, lock down security, handle your cloud infrastructure, and make sure your team can actually do their jobs without screaming at their computers. From the bedroom to the server room — and we're just getting started.
